Head of Education
Eloise Barnett
​Although our approach is nurturing, our aspirations are ambitious. We provide a broad and meaningful curriculum that enables students to gain recognised qualifications, including Functional Skills, GCSEs and vocational pathways, while developing the communication, emotional regulation, independence and life skills that will support them long after they leave school. Learning is personalised, engaging and purposeful, helping every young person discover their strengths and build confidence in their own abilities.
Partnership sits at the heart of everything we do. We know that parents and carers understand their children better than anyone else, and we value the trust they place in us. By working closely with families, local authorities, professionals and commissioning schools, we create a consistent network of support that enables young people to flourish both in school and beyond.
​PINE at Cromford has grown from the values and experience that underpin Phoenix ND Education, where we have spent many years supporting young people who have struggled within traditional education. Our independent school builds upon that experience, offering a permanent educational community where students can feel secure, develop meaningful relationships and experience genuine success throughout their educational journey.
When you visit our settings, I hope you will notice something different. You will see calm classrooms where every learner is known as an individual.
