Phoenix ND Education Ltd  was established in response to a growing need for specialist education that truly understands and supports young people with a wide range of additional needs.

 

Whilst PINE at Cromford is our newest provision, it is built upon the strong foundations of Phoenix at Rainworth, our established alternative provision, which has successfully supported young people with special educational needs, anxiety, school avoidance and complex barriers to learning for many years.

 

Throughout our work in alternative provision, we have had the privilege of helping students rebuild confidence, re-engage with learning and achieve positive outcomes. However, we also recognised that many families were seeking more than short-term intervention. They wanted a permanent educational community where their child could continue to thrive within the same values, relationships and personalised approach that had enabled them to succeed.

 

PINE at Cromford was created to meet that need and builds on the experience, expertise and values developed through Phoenix ND Education, offering a calm, inclusive learning environment where every young person is known as an individual.

We recognise that no two learners are the same, which is why we provide personalised support, flexible teaching and meaningful opportunities that enable every student to flourish. Alongside recognised qualifications, we place equal importance on developing confidence, independence, resilience and the life skills needed for successful adulthood.

 

Although PINE at Cromford represents an exciting new chapter, our philosophy remains unchanged: every young person deserves to feel understood, valued and empowered to achieve their own unique potential.
